Kerry brothers to sing at White House lunch
Famous PeopleTHREE Kerry brothers will perform for US President George W Bush, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and other dignitaries at a presidential lunch in the White House on March 16.

The McCrohan brothers - Reggie, John and Stephen - known as the Kerry Tenors, are from Caherciveen and received confirmation of their invitation yesterday.

“This is certainly a great honour for us and we’re really looking forward to it,” said Reggie.

“We will be doing some of the Irish tenor repertoire, some classic American folk songs and some of Stephen Foster’s compositions.”

The brothers performed at last year’s All-Ireland football final in Croke Park and have made several TV appearances.

One of their next big appearances at home will be at the National Council of the Blind 75th anniversary concert at Liberty Hall, Dublin.

I am attempting to connect up with some of my grandfather - Clive Innes - siblings descendants. I know his three children, one of whom was my father Otho Michael from near Cessnock. Apart from what is in Gallery I do not have any photos, stories or whatever that I can record in family tree I am compiling for my grandsons.
My youngest son, Scott can sing.
My grandson Jacob and great nephew Henry also love to sing - - wondered where this all came from so if anyone can tell me it will be much appreciated. I myself cannot hold a tune but would love to be able to.
All you McCrohon relos out there, please contact me.
