Mike McCrehin
The Namecarsun writes "

I couldn't select a proper 'topic' so "the name" will have to do.  I finally got the death date on Mike McCrehin.  He was born in New York 1837 and I have been unable to find his parents.  Anyhow through the census I found him in Minnesota in 1900 and 1910.  In 1910 he was living with a William Hill,  his wife and 8 yr. old son.  I had spent some time in trying to find a death date for him and it finally came through" Family Search".

He died 9/5/1911 at Beltrami Co., MN.  That's where he was in 1910 census.  His name was written down as McCueun at Family Search.  I know that was him because of the Beltrami Co..  Beltrami is right next to where we live in MN.  I went to the courthouse in Bemidji to see the records.  His name was down as McCruen.  He was accidentally shot by William Hill while William Hill was shooting at a bear.  We walked through the cemetery he must have been buried at, a township cemetery, but found no marker.  He wasn't listed in the cemetery listing either.   Part of a mystery is solved.
